The competition started on Tuesday the 2nd of March at 4pm, kicking off with the mixed double games. There were three French pairs who competed today and two of them who won.
First of all, the pair known as LABAR/TRAN won two sets against the Malaysians HOO and CHEAH. (21-12 / 21-17). The French players Thom GICQUEL and Delphine DELRUE, winners of the 2019 edition of the Orléans Masters, also won the two sets playing against the Malaysians Tang Jie CHENG and Yen Wei WECK. (21-12 / 21/17). Unfortunately, the last French duo with M. LAMBERT and E. ADAM, lost against both the Malaysians GOH and LAI in two sets. (21-18 / 21-14).
The rest of the competition will take place on Wednesday the 4th of March and it is already promising very interesting games, including the introduction of the number 2 in the world, Viktor AXELSEN.
