On December 16, 2020, the Orleans Masters organized its launch party for the 2021 edition. Exceptional guests were present. Thomas RENAULT, Deputy Mayor of Orléans in charge of sports. Mohamed MOULAY, Vice-President of the Region Centre Val de Loire in charge of sports. Yohan PENEL, President of the French Badminton Federation. As well as Ronan LABAR, finalist in mixed doubles for the 2019 edition.
With more than 70 participants, the evening was a great success and Franck LAURENT was able to show the assets of the tournament. High level players are expected to qualify for the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2021 and the 2021 edition will mark the Orleans metropolitan.
