Alex LANIER won a long and suspenseful match against Mads CHRISTOPHERSEN.

While Christo Popov, tested by the European tour, did not hold against Lan Xi LEI (CHI), he lost 15-21, 12-21.

There will be two pairs of men's doubles (Labar/Corvée and Maïo/Villeger) and Alex Lanier in the quarter-finals for the French.

See you tomorrow at 1pm to follow these great matches !

The French pair Julien Maïo and William Villeger put in a great performance at the Palais des Sports in Orléans against the Indonesians Kusumawarda/Rambitan. This is the first international tournament of this level for this young pair, who started last October. They eliminated the number 5 seed of the tournament and the world number 21. This bodes well for their Olympic qualification.

They will meet again tomorrow in the quarter finals against a pair from Chinese Taipei.

On this third day of the tournament, some French players will play their 8th final. Margot LAMBERT/Anne TRAN will face Lanny Tria MAYASARI/Ribka SUGIARTO (IND), while the men's doubles composed of Lucas CORVEE/Ronan LABAR will face Shuntaro MEZAKI/Haruya NISHIDA (JAP).

Another men's double will be played today, Julien MAIO/William VILLEGER against the Indian men's double Pramudya KUSUMAWARDANA/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob RAMBITAN.

The men's singles will be represented by two French players: Christo POPOV and Alex LANIER.

You will be able to follow all the matches on the Orléans Masters Badminton presented by Victor website.
