On Tuesday December 18th, the traditional Orleans Masters Kick-Off took place. This evening, usually eagerly awaited by Masters fans, marks the official launch of the new edition. In total, more than 40 people were present to celebrate the renewal of the event!
For the occasion, the Ibis Orléans Centre Hotel, a loyal partner of the event, welcomed us in its premises where champagne and badminton were available. Dedicated to the members, volunteers and partners of the Orléans Masters, this evening was also an opportunity for Franck LAURENT (Director of the Masters Steering Committee) to thank his closest collaborators by giving them a sneak preview of the new features of the 2019 edition. Before that, a retrospective of the 2018 edition had been made by the Master of Ceremonies in order to recall the work already done and the success met.
Philippe LIMOUZIN, National Technical Director of the French Badminton Federation, also honored us with his presence and recalled the particular attachment of the FFBAD for the Orleans Masters. Indeed, as he rightly stated, the Orleans Masters is also a unique opportunity to see French players shine at home, in a tournament of international renown.
