On Sunday's finals, Europe won four out of five boards.
There was no real suspense in all five finals this Sunday at the Orleans Masters.
To start off, Gabriela/Stefani Stoeva, the two sisters, faced the French pair of Delphine Delrue/Léa Palermo: 21-8 21-14.
The winner of the mixed doubles final was then decided in the first set. Niclas Nohr/Sara Thygesen made the difference, and never gave Peter Kaesbauer/Olga Konon a chance in the second: 21-19 21-9.
The surprising Japanese Shiori Saito then won the women's singles draw thanks to her success over the number two seed, Mia Blichfeldt: 21-18 21-14.
This came just after the final of the other singles draw. Mark Caljouw defended his title against Rasmus Gemke. After losing the first set, the Dutchman made the difference, no doubt taking advantage of the fatigue accumulated by the Dane during his epic match the day before. Final score: 10-21 21-18 21-8.
And finally, to finish, the men's doubles draw. The German pair Mark Lamsfuss/Marvin-Emil Seidel won the title without forcing against the Malaysian pair Chun Kang Shia/Wee Gieen Tan: 21-10 2-18.
