Rawinda Prajongjai & Jongkolphan Kititharakul won the title in Orléans for their first visit to the Masters.
Seeded n°1 and n°8 in the world, the Thai players held their ground throughout the week, despite a scare in the quarter-finals.
But in the final, the fears and tensions were forgotten. Rawinda & Jongkolphan controlled their match to perfection. They knocked out the Stoeva sisters, who were not at their best on Sunday. It's a pity, the story would have been beautiful, after their two victories in 2015 and 2018.
For the first time, Thai women win at the Palais des Sports.
