The French have particularly shone in Spain at the Iberdrola Spanish International 2018 :

The men's singles draw saw a 100% French final between Lucas Corvée (eliminated in the quarter finals of OM18) and Toma Popov Junior (eliminated in the 1st round of OM18). It was the latter who won this final by a score of 21-13 21-17.

The French pair Delrue / Palermo (see photo), finalists in Orléans the last three years, won in the women's double, with notably a victory in the final against the Ukrainian pair Ilyinskaya / Zharka. (21/6 21/12.)

In the other tables, the Danish Michelle Skodstrup won the women's single table. To be noted the semi-final of Linda Zetchiri and the quarter-final of QI Xuafei, semi-finalist in Orléans. In men's doubles, Colberg / Fischer Nielsen, quarter finalist in Orléans, won the draw with a victory in the final. (21/23 21/19 21/15). Finally in the mixed category, the Russians Dremin / Dimova, semi-finalists in Orléans, took the victory. We can also underline the semi-finals of the French pairs Kersaudy / Palermo and Labar / Fontaine.

The double winner of the Orleans Masters, Mark Caljouw, lost in the final against Lee Dong Keun. (14/21 21/17 21/16). Frenchman Brice Leverdez (winner in Orleans in 2009) put in a good performance in the first round, eliminating Jan O Jorgensen. (21/16 21/16). Unfortunately, his tournament stopped in the next round.

In the mixed draw, Marvin Emi Seidel, winner in DH in Orléans in 2018, reached the final with his partner Linda Efler (1/4 finalist in this draw in Orléans). They lost in the final 21/19 - 21/15. The Germans Lamsfuss / Herttrich, winners in Orléans in 2017, stopped in the semi-final.
