The SIMINVEST INDONESIA Open 2021 took place this year from 23 to 28 November 2021. Today, we look back at the performances of our different players of the Orleans Masters 2021, on the course of this superb INDONESIA Open 2021!
Concerning the men's single table:
Our Frenchman Toma Junior POPOV leaves the tournament quickly after his defeat 2 sets to 0 against the formidable Indian SAI PRANEETH B. The latter then beat our young Frenchman Christo POPOV in 3 sets (21-17 / 14-21 / 21-19).
The 35 year old former semi-finalist of the Orleans Masters, VITTINGHUS unfortunately lost after a good start in the quarter finals against the young Kean Yew LOH (21-9 / 21-4).
Women's single side:
The adventure for CHOCHUWONG will end in the semi-final against the elusive 19 year old Korean, world number 6, SeYoung AN ( 21-19 / 21-19 ).
It should be noted that our Danish No. 2 women's singles player of the OM2021, L. CHRISTOPERSEN and B. ONGBAMRUNGPHAN, winner of the Orléans Masters 2021, did not reach the quarter-finals.
In men's doubles:
We find our Frenchmen Christo POPOV & Toma Junior POPOV. Their journey was short, they stop at the doors of the last 16. The Malaysian pair Nur IZZUDDIN & Sze Fei GOH won 2 sets to 0 against our two French brothers (22-20/21-10).
On the women's doubles side :
The STOEVA sisters could not compete with the winning pair of women's doubles of the 2021 edition of the Orleans Masters, KITITHARAKUL and PRAJONGJAI; barely time to pronounce their names, the latter had already taken out the STOEVA sisters (21-10 / 21-14).
In the mixed doubles category :
Very good performance for the n°1 mixed doubles of the Orléans Masters 2021. The fabulous Danish pair Mathias CHRISTIANSEN & Alexandra BOJE finished in the semi-final against the Japanese pair Yuta WATANABE & Arisa HIGASHINO who won 21-16/21-12. The latter lost in the final 21-12 / 21-13 to the unstoppable Thai pair S. TAERATTANACHAI and D. PUAVARANUKROH.
