In men's doubles, the winners of the 2019 Orleans Masters, Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin won their Olympic final by defeating Li Junhui & Liu Yuchen from China. (21/18 - 21/12) A magnificent victory that reinforces the reputation of the Orléans tournament.
For the category mixed doubles, the final was 100% Chinese, opposing the pair Huang/Wang & Zheng/Huang. A very intense match, in three sets, finally won by the duo Huang/Wang. (21/17 - 17/21 - 21/19)
In women's singles, the world N°1 Tai Tzu Ying lost in three sets 18/21 - 21/19 - 18/21 to the Chinese Yufei, current world N°2.
The Indonesian pair, in women's doubles, Rahayu / Polii won their match against the Chinese pair Chen / Jia. (21/19 - 21/ - 21/15)
In the category men's singles, Viktor Axelsen, world number 2, faced the Chinese Chen Long. The last European in the competition won the gold medal in two sets, 21/15 - 21/12.
