Japan dominates the field!
In tomorrow's women’s singles semifinals, we'll see three Japanese representatives: Tomoka Miyazaki (3rd seed), Hina Akechi (Qualifier), and Manami Suizu, who caused an upset by defeating the 2nd seed, Line Christophersen.
While Japan boasts three representatives, it won't be a complete clean sweep for them, as Asuka Takahashi was knocked out by another qualifier, Lu Chen from China. Despite her impressive performance earlier in the afternoon, the world No. 94 will have a tough challenge ahead to prevent a Japanese title at the Palais des Sports on Sunday.
