Thailand’s Busanan Ongbarumgphan crowned

Great performance of the Thai Busanan Ongbamrungphan who won the Orleans Masters this Sunday after a sublime final. The Danish Line Christophersen (21 years old) was deserving and made an appointment for the future!

Tactically well set up, incisive on her shots, the Danish player took the best start and the lead of this match. Still in the lead, Christophersen won 21-16.
But a slight slackening coupled with a temporary fatigue allowed Busanan to surface. The Thai, although physically exhausted after her great performance against Chochuwong the day before, came back into the game after a well fought second set (21-15).

The Danish player was not under any pressure and was in better shape physically. She held on and took over the match at the beginning of the third set. But numerous errors and unforced errors on her opponent's backhand put Busanan in the money-time. A final rally won by the Thai finally gave her the title after more than an hour of great entertainment.
Final score: 16-21, 21-15, 21-19.
