Yonex IFB 2018, finals: no exploit for the STOEVA sisters

On Sunday 28 October, the last day of competition of the Yonex IFB 2018 took place, and not the least because it was the Finals. Throughout the day, the Parisian public could admire matches of a very high intensity. The Women's Doubles final was no exception. It was particularly awaited by the French badists since the STOEVA sisters. The last European players still in the competition were opposed to the reigning world champions, the Japanese M. MATSUMOTO and W. NAGAHARA.

However, despite a flawless run, marked by multiple performances, the winners of the 2018 Orleans Masters were unable to get the better of the number 5 seed. Indeed, although the second set was more disputed, the Bulgarians had to acknowledge the superiority of their opponents of the day and lost. (14-21 / 19-21). The outcome of the match was not necessarily what they had hoped for. However, the two sisters remain amply satisfied with their week in Paris. It guaranteed them a place in the world's Top 1.
